Margaret James, the founder and Executive Director of the Metropolitan Dream Center, transformed her painful childhood experiences of homelessness and abuse into a powerful mission. Inspired by her mother's unwavering faith and community support, she began providing food and clothing to those in need. After a life-changing heart attack, Margaret founded the Metropolitan Dream Center, which has been dedicated to serving the homeless and hungry for 28 years.
In 2022, despite the challenges of the Covid pandemic, the Metropolitan Dream Center successfully served countless homeless and less fortunate individuals, distributing food and providing essential services.
