Our Story

The Metropolitan Denver Homeless Initiative (MDHI) was established in 1994 to unify services and housing assistance across the Metro area. By collaborating with over 70 organizations, including service providers, government agencies, and individuals with lived experience, MDHI has developed a comprehensive Continuum of Care (CoC) to address homelessness effectively.

Impact

As the designated Continuum of Care by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), MDHI is committed to making homelessness rare, brief, and nonrecurring. Through strategic partnerships and a Coordinated Entry System, MDHI ensures that every individual experiencing homelessness is recognized and supported.

Why Donate?
