Our Story

Metro United Way fights for equity and opportunity for all people in our seven-county region. By empowering community members to engage in candid conversations about race, ethnic identity, and justice, the organization addresses the profound education and wealth gaps that exist.

Impact

In its 106-year history, Metro United Way has financially supported more nonprofits than ever before. Last year, nearly 42,000 individuals reached out to the 2-1-1 helpline for emergency assistance, while the United Community platform connected over 500 service providers, serving more than 17,000 individuals.
