Our Story

For over six decades, Methodist Theological School in Ohio has been a beacon of hope and service. Founded in 1958, MTSO is dedicated to training and preparing students for the preaching and proclaiming of the Gospel of Jesus Christ across diverse ministries. The school has a rich legacy of Christian concern for social justice and has expanded its offerings to include graduate programs such as Master of Divinity and Master of Arts in Social Justice, all while promoting environmental sustainability through initiatives like Seminary Hill Farm.
