Our Story

Founded in 1856, The Bibb County Widows and Orphans Home in Macon, Georgia, has transformed into a vital refuge for at-risk children and families. After the Civil War, Rev. Jessie Boring's vision led to the establishment of a safe haven, evolving into a comprehensive residential treatment and foster care provider under the South Georgia Conference of the United Methodist Church.

Impact

Since 1872, The Methodist Home has positively impacted thousands of children, youth, and families, guiding them towards becoming productive, healthy adults.
