Our Story

Merryhill Child Care Center, Inc. has been a cornerstone of the Newtown community for over 30 years. Established in 1990 as a collaboration between Fairfield Hills Hospital Management and New England Health Care Union District 1199, the center was created to provide quality childcare for state employees. Following the closure of Fairfield Hills Hospital, Merryhill transitioned into an independent nonprofit organization, dedicated to nurturing young minds through high-quality educational experiences.
