Our Story

The roots of Merrick Community Services trace back to 1908, when Mrs. H. T. Quinlan founded the Christ Child Society in St. Paul. Evolving from a settlement house model, Merrick has dedicated itself to serving immigrants and low-income families in the Dayton’s Bluff neighborhood. Today, it continues to adapt its programs to meet the needs of over 15,000 individuals and families annually.
