Founded by Douglas H. Baker, along with healthcare visionaries Sister Sheila Marie Walsh, Dr. Matthew Burke, and Dr. James Ehinger, Mercy Flight operates independently of any hospital, collaborating closely with regional hospitals, ground EMS, law enforcement, and fire authorities. This commitment has allowed Mercy Flight to conduct over 30,000 patient missions, providing critical care to those in need.
