Our Story

Mental Health HEROES is a dedicated nonprofit organization established on October 30, 2008, to support the Charleston Dorchester Mental Health Center (CDMHC). In response to the pressing challenges faced by mental health patients, Mental Health HEROES was formed to bridge the gap created by budget and administrative constraints. By raising essential funds, this organization has become a vital resource for CDMHC, enabling it to respond swiftly to the needs of men, women, and children experiencing mental illness in the community.
