Our Story

Established in 2001, the Mental Health Association of Nebraska is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving those living with mental health and substance use challenges. By employing individuals who have overcome personal struggles, MHA-NE fosters community inclusivity and safety through peer-operated programs.

Impact

MHA-NE is making strides in Nebraska’s prison system by training incarcerated individuals in Intentional Peer Support, promoting healthy relationships and safer communities.
