Our Story

Founded by four visionary Brooklyn ladies in the early 1900s, MJHS Health System began with a mission to provide compassionate care to the poor and elderly. With the support of their community, they opened a nursing home dedicated to at-risk individuals. Over the years, MJHS has evolved into one of the largest not-for-profit health systems, serving diverse populations with dignity and respect.
