Our Story
Founded in 1998 by Memphis businessman Bob Solmson, the Memphis Opportunity Scholarship Trust Inc. (M.O.S.T.) believes that every child deserves access to quality education, regardless of their ZIP code or financial situation. M.O.S.T. provides need-based scholarships to families in Shelby County, enabling them to choose private schooling options that best fit their children's needs.
Impact
Since its inception, M.O.S.T. has awarded over $26 million in scholarships to more than 3,600 children, achieving an impressive 95% college matriculation rate among its scholars.
