Memories of Honor

Our Story

Founded in 2014 by Amy Cotta, Memories of Honor began as a personal journey through endurance sports during her son's deployment to the Marine Corps. What started as a Facebook page transformed into a registered 501c3 nonprofit in 2015, initially named Medals of Honor. The organization honors fallen service members through endurance events and has expanded its mission to include concerts and community events, rebranding to Memories of Honor to reflect its commitment to creating living memorials.

Impact

Memories of Honor has honored fallen heroes with 32,119 bibs, sent 9,237 remembrance packages to families, and logged 55,708 volunteer hours, showcasing a deep commitment to supporting bereaved families.
