Founded in 1987 by Hermann and Linda Alb, Medical Missions Ministries is dedicated to spreading the gospel and providing essential medical care to the rural poor in Guatemala. What began with a humble Toyota Corolla and a few medicines has blossomed into a robust ministry that sends over 30 short-term teams from the U.S. each year. These teams assist in approximately 100 medical clinics, working alongside a network of multi-denominational churches.

With 15 full-time staff members in Guatemala and a ministry center that accommodates 50 people, MMM has expanded its outreach significantly. The organization has initiated micro-enterprise business training, educational clinics for teachers and principals, and various community development programs. Currently, MMM serves over 150 village communities, providing vital health education and resources to combat malnutrition and illness.

Impacting Communities with Hope and Healing

Medical Missions Ministries has established a vast network with local pastors in some of the most remote areas of Guatemala. By coordinating medical clinics with trained physicians, dentists, and dedicated volunteers, MMM brings not only medical assistance but also the message of hope through faith in Jesus Christ.
