Founded in 1997 by two visionary physicians and an engineer, Medical Bridges emerged from a mission trip to El Salvador that highlighted the critical shortage of basic medical supplies. Since then, the organization has expanded its reach to 105 countries, responding to local emergencies and providing vital medical supplies during crises such as Hurricane Harvey and the COVID pandemic.
