Our Story

Founded in 2014, Manage Emotions Avoid Negativity Girls Inc., affectionately known as M.E.A.N. Girls Empowerment, began with just five girls in the Chicagoland area. This nonprofit organization is dedicated to empowering young ladies to live positively and achieve their personal best.

Impact

M.E.A.N. Girls Empowerment is the only Chicago-based mentoring program focused on bullying prevention. Recognized as a 2022 Champion by PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center, the organization has positively impacted over 1500 girls through its programs.
