Since 1971, Meals on Wheels Santa Maria Valley has been dedicated to providing home-delivered nutritious meals to the elderly, disabled, and homebound individuals in Santa Maria and Orcutt. With the support of over 75 volunteer drivers, this program ensures that more than 160 clients receive meals five days a week, including holidays.
In collaboration with Dignity Health, meals are prepared at the Marian Extended Care Center kitchen, adhering to all Federal and State licensure requirements. Annually, over 20,500 meals are delivered in eco-friendly containers, promoting health and sustainability.
