Our Story

Meals on Wheels of Salem County, Inc. has been dedicated to combating senior hunger since 1977. Starting with just 15 clients, the organization now delivers between 35,000 and 40,000 meals annually to home-bound seniors and disabled residents in Salem County. Governed by a volunteer Board of Trustees, the organization thrives on the commitment of over 250 volunteers who make a difference in the community.

Each year, Meals on Wheels of Salem County delivers approximately 40,000 hot, nutritious meals, significantly enhancing the well-being and quality of life for elderly and disabled residents. Beyond meals, the organization provides companionship and safety checks, crucial for the health and happiness of its clients.
