Founded in 1972 by Reverend James W. Kendell and dedicated community members, Meals on Wheels of Polk County has been a beacon of hope for the elderly. Initially launched in Winter Haven, the program has grown to serve the needs of homebound residents from our location at 620 6th Street NW.
