The Morris County Youth Hockey League (MCYHL) was founded in December 1973 by local businessmen who recognized the need for organized youth winter sports. From humble beginnings on frozen ponds, the league has evolved into a structured program with 17 member regions, serving over 2000 youth aged 5-18. The focus remains on skill development, fair play, and good sportsmanship.
