Our Story
Founded in 1989, McKenzie River Trust began with a group of concerned citizens dedicated to protecting the McKenzie River and its surrounding lands. Over the years, it has evolved into a regional land trust, conserving thousands of acres across western Oregon.

With over 9,000 acres protected, more than a million trees planted, and 25 miles of salmon-bearing streams restored, McKenzie River Trust plays a crucial role in conserving fish, wildlife, and water quality.
