Our Story

The E. Donald Conroy Scholarship Fund honors the legacy of Don Conroy, a dedicated community servant in Babylon Village. From his early days collecting materials for the war effort during World War II to his impactful role as a police officer and volunteer firefighter, Don's commitment to service was unwavering. As mayor, he spearheaded projects like the September 11th Memorial Garden and the revitalization of the business district, all aimed at making Babylon a better place to live and work.

Impact

Thanks to the generosity of the community, over 60 students have received scholarships, providing them with a significant financial head start as they embark on their college journeys. The dedication to community service demonstrated by these scholarship recipients reflects the values that Don Conroy embodied.
