Founded in 1999, Mayflower Medical Outreach began with traditional medical missions in Nicaragua. Recognizing the need for a more focused approach, the organization shifted its efforts to Jinotega, a town of 80,000 residents, to provide comprehensive care for children with congenital hearing loss.
Over 16 years, Mayflower Medical Outreach has established clinics, provided education, and supported local medical professionals. The organization has equipped ENT clinics and built audiology testing booths, significantly enhancing healthcare access for hearing-impaired individuals.
