Our Story

The Marine Institute of the Maui Ocean Center inspires lifelong environmental stewardship and ensures the survival of coral reefs and sea turtles in Hawaiʻi through science-based conservation efforts, education, and outreach.

Impact

Hawaiian corals and sea turtles are at risk due to anthropogenic changes of the on and offshore environment. The organization provides food for sea turtle patients and engages in conservation efforts to protect marine life.
