Our Story
Maui Ki-Aikido was founded in 1953, introducing Aikido to the island through the teachings of Professor Koichi Tohei. The first dojo was built in 1960, a testament to the dedication and volunteerism of its members. Today, the Shunshinkan Dojo continues to embody the spirit of harmony and love that Aikido represents, nurturing future generations of practitioners.
