Our Story

Mattingly Edge has a rich history of over 65 years, originally founded in 1950 as the Cerebral Palsy School of Louisville by the Sisters of Mercy. Over the decades, the organization has transformed through various phases, including the Highlands Opportunity Workshop and the Mattingly Center for Continuing Education and Enrichment, ultimately becoming Mattingly Edge in 2017. The mission focuses on supporting individuals with disabilities in their homes and communities, promoting inclusion and independence.
