Founded in 1979 by dedicated community members, Matthews HELP Center emerged from a vision to support those in crisis. With the backing of the Matthews Woman’s Club and the Happy Times Club, the center opened its doors in the historic Clark House, becoming a beacon of hope for local families. Over the years, the center has thrived thanks to the unwavering support of the Matthews community, including individuals, families, and local businesses.
