Hands for Hearts

Our Story

Founded in 2014 by Skotty Wannamaker, Jeff Fusaiotti, and Kathleen Little, Hands for Hearts honors the legacy of Matthew Francis Sullivan, who passed away in January 2014. Matt's passion for life and love for his family, especially his nephew Nicholas, who was born with a congenital heart defect, inspired the creation of this nonprofit. As his sister Nicole Sullivan LaRose beautifully stated, "Matt smiles from his heart." This radiant smile is the driving force behind our mission to bring joy to children with congenital heart defects (CHDs) and their families.

Our Impact

In 2024, Hands for Hearts hosted a successful Casino Night, attracting over 600 attendees and raising more than $372,000. These funds are dedicated to advancing CHD research and providing essential support to affected families.
