Our Story

The Matthew 19:14 Project, established in 2014, was born from a vision to support children with special needs in Catholic schools. Founded by Dr. Lisa Colangelo Fischer, the organization emerged from discussions with the Diocese of Phoenix and the Catholic Schools office. Dr. Fischer's personal experiences highlighted the need for better resources and support for these students, leading to the creation of exceptional learner toolkits.
