Founded in 2009 by a dedicated group of adult siblings, the Massachusetts Sibling Support Network emerged from the Massachusetts Sibling Exploratory Committee. This initiative was born out of a need to address the unique challenges faced by siblings of individuals with disabilities. By 2011, the organization became a recognized nonprofit, committed to collaborating with key stakeholders in the disability field.
The MSSN provides essential sibling support services, including educational presentations and information referrals, amplifying the sibling voice within the disability community.
