About Project 351

Project 351 is an independent nonprofit organization dedicated to building a movement of youth-led service. Engaging an unsung hero from each of Massachusetts' 351 cities and towns, this initiative was inspired by former Governor Deval Patrick's vision of unity and the belief in the potential of young people to lead and serve. Since its inception in 2011, Project 351 has transformed the lives of countless eighth graders through a year-long leadership journey focused on community service and personal development.
