Our Story
The Massachusetts Coalition to Prevent Gun Violence was founded in response to the tragic shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in December 2012. This coalition unites over 120 organizations across the Commonwealth, focusing on addressing all forms of gun violence. Guided by the voices of survivors and impacted communities, the Coalition emphasizes education, advocacy, community organizing, and member support.
