Massachusetts Advocates for Children (MAC) is a dedicated nonprofit organization located in downtown Boston, focused on removing barriers to education for children and youth. By collaborating with families, communities, and policymakers, MAC addresses the inequities faced by children due to economic status, disability, race, ethnicity, immigration status, and traumatic experiences.

Making a Significant Impact

Each year, MAC answers approximately 2,000 helpline calls and trains around 3,000 parents in advocacy techniques and legal rights. Since 2002, the organization has successfully advocated for 16 laws, showcasing its commitment to enhancing educational rights and support for families in Massachusetts.
