Our Story

Founded in 2007 by Will Mason and a group of musician friends, Mason Music began as a mobile music lesson program, bringing music education directly to children in their homes across Birmingham, Alabama. In 2012, the first official Mason Music location opened in Cahaba Heights, and in 2016, the Mason Music Foundation was established to expand access to music education for children in under-resourced neighborhoods.
