Our Story

The Marysville Community Food Bank began in 1974 in the rectory of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, where dedicated volunteers distributed food to the hungry and homeless. What started as a small initiative serving 30 to 40 families a week has blossomed into a vital nonprofit organization, supported by 18 community churches and various local groups.

Impact

Today, the food bank distributes over 90,000 pounds of food monthly, serving approximately 2,800 individuals each month. Annually, it reaches 49,000 customers and distributes 1.4 million pounds of food, showcasing a significant impact on the community's food security.
