The Maryland Pesticide Education Network is committed to reducing the harm caused by pesticides through education, advocacy, and grassroots organizing. By promoting safer pest management practices, MPEN protects public health, the environment, and wildlife.

Impact

MPEN has successfully advocated for groundbreaking laws in Maryland, including the first-in-the-nation Integrated Pest Management (IPM) in Schools laws and a complete ban on the pesticide chlorpyrifos, significantly reducing pesticide exposure in public spaces.
