Our Story

Since 2002, The Mary Parrish Center has been a beacon of hope for survivors of interpersonal violence in Nashville, TN. With a commitment to providing no-cost, comprehensive services, the center has supported over 10,000 individuals affected by domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, stalking, and human trafficking. Initially focused on assisting victims with the order of protection process, the center expanded its mission in 2009 to include a dedicated transitional housing program. This program not only offers safe, individual apartments but also a wide range of support services, including case management, clinical therapy, and economic empowerment.

With funding from The US Department of Housing and Urban Development, the center has developed innovative programs like Rapid Re-housing and Coordinated Entry, specifically designed for survivors of interpersonal violence.
