Mary Lee’s House is Hillsborough County’s first and only Child Advocacy and Protection Center, established in 2008 to provide a safe haven for children experiencing abuse and neglect. Prior to its inception, vital services were scattered across the county, making it difficult for children to access the help they needed. Through the collaboration of child welfare stakeholders and generous private donors, Mary Lee’s House was created to co-locate specialists and streamline services for vulnerable children.
