Our Story

The Martin Luther King Youth Center (MLKYC) was established in 1972 as a recreational youth center, providing a safe haven for children in Bridgewater, NJ. Over the years, MLKYC has expanded its services to include educational and summer camp programs aimed at empowering future leaders, particularly for children from low-income families.

Impact

MLKYC serves over 100 children in its summer camp and provides after-school programs for more than 55 students, offering academic tutoring, extracurricular activities, and a safe environment for children from underserved communities in Somerset County, NJ.
