Our Story

Founded in 2008, the Martin Luther King, Jr. Leadership Development Institute emerged from the vision of the Interdenominational Ministers Conference of Greater Harrisburg. Initially aimed at training young minority professionals, the Institute has evolved to embrace participants from diverse backgrounds, reflecting Dr. King's vision of the Beloved Community. As an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit, MLK-LDI is dedicated to fostering personal and professional growth for leaders committed to community service.
