Our Story

Founded in 1974 by the de La Salle Christian Brothers, Martin De Porres Youth & Family Services has been a beacon of hope for at-risk youth in Queens, New York. Initially established as The Martin de Porres Group Homes, the organization has evolved to meet the changing needs of the community, offering specialized programs for juvenile sex offenders and after-school youth development initiatives. In 2019, the organization rebranded to reflect its commitment to empowering youth and families through a Trauma Informed Care model.
