Marshfield Community Rib Cook-Off

Our Story

In May 2009, a mission group from North Community Church traveled to Biloxi, MS, to assist in rebuilding homes devastated by Hurricane Katrina. Inspired by their experience and the delicious barbecue at 'The Shed', they initiated the Marshfield Community Rib Cook-Off. The inaugural event in September 2009 raised over $1,000 for the church's mission, and since then, it has evolved into a significant community gathering.

Impact

Over the past 15 years, MCRCO has distributed more than $250,000 to local charities, directly benefiting youth and families facing economic hardship, homelessness, and food insecurity.
