Our Story

Mark 12 Ministries began with a simple yet profound idea: no one should have to sleep in a tent or on a bench in the freezing cold. The White Flag Shelter emerged as a warm and safe haven for those in need, offering refuge during the harsh winter nights in Shepherdsville, Mt. Washington, and surrounding Bullitt County cities. This shelter not only provided warmth but also fostered a sense of community, as local churches, businesses, and dedicated volunteers came together to serve meals and share the love of Christ. The White Flag Shelter was just the beginning; since then, Mark 12 Ministries has expanded its services to create a continuum of care for the less fortunate.

Impact

Last year, Mark 12 Ministries served 69 individuals, many of whom have discovered new purpose and healing in their lives. The impact of this organization resonates deeply within the community.
