Our Story

Marissa’s House Projects was founded in memory of Marissa Amber McGill, a compassionate young girl dedicated to helping marginalized children in Africa. After her untimely passing, her family established this nonprofit to honor her legacy by building Church Homes and providing essential care for children in need.

Our Impact

With successful projects in Uganda and Ethiopia, Marissa’s House Projects has built a Church Home and a school/drop-in/tutor center, significantly improving living conditions and educational opportunities for countless children.
