Founded by U.S. Marine Corps Veteran Hank Whittier in the early 1990s, Marion County Veterans Helping Veterans Inc, also known as Veterans Helping Veterans USA, was the first Veteran Resource Center in Florida. This organization has been a beacon of hope for veterans and their families since its incorporation in 2002. With a mission to provide essential services such as financial assistance, counseling, and advocacy, it strives to help veterans regain their independence and dignity.

Through a dedicated network of approximately 100 volunteers, Veterans Helping Veterans USA assists veterans in seeking employment, raises awareness about available benefits, and provides vital support through home wellness checks and errands.
