Founded in 1999, Mariana Bracetti Academy Charter School was established by a dedicated coalition of educators and community members in the Kensington neighborhood. With a charter granted in March 2000, MBA has grown to serve over 1,155 students in grades 6 through 12, becoming one of Pennsylvania's largest charter schools. The school thrives on collaboration among parents, teachers, and community members, fostering a culture of academic excellence and personal responsibility.
In the 2023-24 school year, MBA proudly graduates 100% of its seniors, with the Class of 2024 earning over $15 million in scholarships.
