Our Story

The Margaret B. Shipley Child Health Clinic, founded in 1971 by Dr. Margaret Shipley, began as a pilot project of the Junior League to provide essential healthcare to underserved children. Over the years, the clinic has evolved to serve over 6,500 children in Stark County and surrounding areas, ensuring that no child is denied healthcare due to inability to pay.

Impact

Since its inception, the clinic has provided continuous pediatric healthcare to families with little or no means of paying for services. Serving children from 53 unique zip codes, the clinic demonstrates an extensive reach and unwavering commitment to child health.
