Our Story

MARC Community Resources began in 1955 as a grassroots initiative by eight families seeking support for their children with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). At a time when public schools were inaccessible and institutional care was the only option, these families fought for change. Their efforts led to the inclusion of children with I/DD in local schools, paving the way for a supportive community. Today, MARC serves hundreds of adults with disabilities through employment, community living, and recreational programs, fostering an environment where dreams can flourish.
