About the Marblehead Arts Association
Now in its 10th decade, the Marblehead Arts Association (MAA) is located in the historic King Hooper Mansion. Founded in 1922 by a passionate group of artists, the MAA believes that a vibrant art community is essential to the well-being of Marblehead and its surrounding areas. Over the years, the association has grown to serve over 500 artistically diverse members, showcasing their work in six rotating galleries that display more than 1,200 original pieces of art annually.
