Our Story

During the COVID-19 pandemic, real estate entrepreneurs Clay and Evan Manship witnessed a troubling trend in Indianapolis. As thousands lost their jobs, real estate values and rents soared, leaving many families in dire need of assistance. In response, they forgave over $50,000 in tenant rents through their holding company, Mainstay Property Group, throughout 2020. This act of compassion ignited a passion for creating sustainable housing solutions.

Impacting Lives

In early 2021, as large financial institutions began purchasing homes, often sidelining young families, the Manship Foundation was born. The foundation focuses on providing affordable housing solutions for first-time home buyers and low-income families. Since its inception, it has successfully assisted over 20 families in achieving home ownership, creating opportunities that would otherwise be non-existent.
